In short: KungFuNotes 功夫筆記 is a personal note-taking app. Your notes, photos and recordings stay on your own device. The app has no internet permission and cannot send your content anywhere. We do not collect, store, sell or share your personal data.
KungFuNotes 功夫筆記 (the “App”) is developed and published by Tiger Group Tech (operated by BaseCamp Digital Ltd, Hong Kong) (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how the App handles your information. It applies only to the App and not to any website or third-party service you may reach from it.
| Type | What it is | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Notes & text | Content you type or dictate into the App | Stored locally on your device only (App private storage) |
| Photos / images | Pictures you choose to attach to a note, taken with your camera | Stored locally on your device only |
| Audio recordings | Voice notes you record inside the App | Stored locally on your device only |
| App settings | Your preferences (theme, reminder times, etc.) | Stored locally on your device only |
We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, advertising identifiers, device identifiers, analytics or crash data. The App contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs and no third-party tracking.
Every permission is optional and requested only when the matching feature is used. You can deny or revoke any of them in your device settings; the rest of the App keeps working.
The App is built without the Android INTERNET permission. It is technically
incapable of sending your notes, photos, recordings or any personal data to us or to anyone else. There is no
account, no sign-in, no cloud sync and no server that receives your content.
We do not sell, rent, trade or disclose your information, because we never receive it. Content leaves your device only if you explicitly share or export it (for example using the share button to send a note to another app, or exporting a backup file you choose to store yourself).
All data is kept in the App’s private storage on your device for as long as you keep it. You are in full control:
The App is a general-purpose note-taking tool, is not directed at children under 13, and collects no personal data from anyone — children included.
Because your content never leaves your device, the main protection is your device’s own security (screen lock, encryption, OS updates). We recommend keeping your device updated and using a screen lock.
If we change this policy we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected in the App’s store listing.
